To answer this simply it's a brilliant way for kids and teens to learn by having fun. It's also a great way to teach wellbeing activities without anxiety or pressure creeping in.
All Rise Up Kids Yoga & OT classes and sessions are planned and taught using this methodology and focus on the below MEANINGFUL FUN WHEEL of Learning Outcomes in mind. Combining background knowledge and skills in child development, with practical experience from years of clinical practice as an OT, these learning outcomes are the focus of all activities and are delivered and met in an age appropriate and person-centred manner – and using heaps of fun!

Rise Up Kids Yoga & OT is delivered by a certified Children’s Yoga Teacher and highly experienced children’s Occupational Therapist Michelle Roberts. Michelle has extensive knowledge and experience in child development and is skilled in the design, implementation and adaptation of age appropriate activities that target and build children and teens physical, social, emotional, cognitive and overall wellbeing.
